Bath/shower mixer

Hey all

Anyone have any ideas how to switch this from shower to bath? I’m baffled. The disc like part between taps and shower seems to go up and down but doesn’t actually seem useful..?

If it goes up or down but does nothing I would assume it’s broke

Does the collar below the flexi-hose connection rotate?

Left for tap and right for shower?
