Bath Taps

Hi,

I'm looking to replace the taps on my Bath and would like to know what the difference is between "Deck Mounted" and "Pillar Mounted" taps?

Can they be screwed straight on to the bath?

Pillar taps are a pair of taps, deck ones are usually a mixer/filler so instead of a pair of taps you have one tap, both are designed to fit standard tap holes, the beauty of a deck filler though is that you can blend the water as you fill the bath. This link will probably help you...
