Bath Wastes With Overflows

Can the ones supplied with an overflow have the overflow blanked off? Effectively!

Ta. I need a brass/goldy one (hen's teeth) and most come with an overflow. My tub hasn't had an overflow for 26 years, so I don't want to cut holes in it now!

Depends on the overflow connection I guess. If it uses a compression seal and nut then you should be able to get a blank to fit that. If it's a hose push on then you may be able to fill the connection with silicone adhesive but that's a bit of a fudge.

All depends really.
 
Can you do as Mad says, but stick the corrugated overflow pipe onto the waste ,stuff the top with silicone & tape it to the side of the bath

That way the end will usually be above the water level.
