Have noticed that silicone is peeling away from bath rim/wall
Bath has been fitted 3 years .
Investigation shows bath not fitted into wall. Grout from final tiles has been applied rough shod leaving very little room for the silicone hence the peeling. I must either chip away the now hard exposed grout to make way for the silicone OR would the following be satisfactory ?
Using tile to tile grout - I attatch the 2 inch decorative tiles around the bath taking the grout down to the bath edge ??
Would the grout exposed to bath rim crumble ?
If yes - exposed grout sitting on rim will crumble then --
Are you aware of any other product I may use ?
Many thanks your help

You should be able to remove the grout easily enough. Then just re-silicone.
Grouting the joint will not work - it'll crack.
