Bathroom and landing lights

This is the landing switch the single gang one these are the only wires there was.the double switch at the. Bottom hall I did remove 1 x 3 core Which was Red Black and earth

The wires I have to put in are hallway / landing are 2red 1black yellow and blue the up stairs switch the wires are 2 red black with a red sleeve yellow and blue

Left hand photo yellow to bottom other two wires one in each of top contacts with existing wires will likely help.

However the fault may have nothing to do with switches, I know my landing lights will still switch on/off with all switch wires disconnected, OK this is unusual, as I have a smart relay in the lamp, but point is with info given guess work.

Do me a favour and do this. Does it then switch any light?

Do you have any test kit: multimeter? neon screwdriver?

The switch you replaced, I think it should have been a two way switch. Someone has used an intermediate.
If so, you could still use the switch you have.
Put the two reds together in the top L1
Thd black and blue together in the top L2
and the yellow in one of the bottom terminals.
See if that works.

Sunday just tried it still nothing working
Taylortwocities is this the bottom double switch?
From your earlier comments I thought that was going to be the case.

So now we need to find what you have actually removed elsewhere, You mentioned a 3c&e. where was it and where did it run to?

This is certainly what I'm expecting to achieve but I feel the removed cable is the problem.
