Hi all,

I have recently installed a bathroom basin mixer tap but the problem is the tap moves about. i have tightened the back nut when i installed the tap and it was fine for a couple of weeks but is now moving about quite a bit.

I tried silicon on the base of the tap and the basin but that didnt do much and i have also even tried no more nails which didnt do much either

Any ideas on how;/what needs to be done to fix this

This is the tap i have - got it off their Ebay store

thanks, will try that tonight
It's the only sure way of getting a good tight fit.
Providing you have fitted all washer and mounting plates that should have been supplied with the tap. The monoblock tap spanner will do the job, a most valuable tool for fitting monoblock taps.
