We have a small flat in London, and are getting a build of mould constantly in the bathroom. It's a small bathroom with a low lying ceiling. The exhaust fan currently installed obviously doesn't cut it.

Any advice on what sort of fan we should get ? Perhaps something with a timer which will run for a period of time after finishing in the shower ?

We have googled, but go round and round in circles as we're not sure on which are the better brands; what unit would suit this bathroom etc etc.

Thanks heaps

A centrifugal fan will be more efficient than a standard axial type.

A 100mm unit should be OK for a typical sized bathroom, and you should have a 10mm gap under the door, or another source of air input.

Look for a built in or separate humidistat control which would be better than a timer
