Hello, we have two extractor fans in our kitchen, one is a very noisy fan near the ceiling that is operated with a wall switch (looks a bit like a bathroom extractor fan) and a cooker hood. The cooker hood has packed up and we want to replace it with another bathroom style extractor fan as a temporary measure until we get a new kitchen in 2021. The ducting there is 100mm which seems to rule out most kitchen extractor fans. Could we use a bathroom extractor fan instead? Can anyone recommend a cheap 100mm fan for under £30? It's just a temporary measure

you can put a 125:100mm reducer adaptor on the spigot.

It will somewhat reduce airflow and increase noise.

At low speed it doesn't seem to make a difference.

If you post some photos it will help.
