I recently replaced the light pull in my bathroom which also turns on the extractor fan when the lights come on. It worked for a week but the extractor fan has suddenly stopped coming on. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be? Thanks

1. loose connections in pull cord or fan or light

Did you replace just the pull cord? or that actual switch inside the fan?
Chances are that the pull cord my not be switching the fan on and off.
I would have a look at this before having the expense of buying a new fan.
