Bathroom Fan Wiring

Hi All,

When wiring a timed fan which has a live neutral and switched live wire. It it nessecary to fuse the fan via a FCU and also isolate it via a fan isolating switch (triple pole) the wiring diagram that came on fan said to use a DP 3amp FCU but then it showed the switched live going into a 6amp light switch!!!!!!

Any Ideas.

Nothing wrong with overrated accessories. For example, 13 amp plugs can be fused at 1 amp if needs must

As long as the protective device (fuse, MCB) itself is not overrated
