hi all after some advise am currently about to refit my bathroom, floor is boarded over a 2 x 2 framework onto concrete floor i want to tile the floor however the current boards sit about 3/4 of an inch higher than the hallway floor which is concrete so when i remove the boards and framework it will leave the bathroom floor just under 2 inch lower than the hallway , when it's tiled i want a pretty level finish between the floor , any ideas?

i have never laid concrete before any tips for going over old floor?

have just thought is it possible to lay a farme work of say 2 x 1 fixed to the concrete and then 22mm WBP fixed to that? or will the framework be to thin?
