Hello everyone
Currently removed floor tiles, unfortunately cement board was glued with tile adhesive and screwed to plywood.Braked and removed 90% backerboard using sds hammer, some of plywood got random damage. Can someone give me advice can I lay new cement board over damaged plywood or better idea is to replace plywood(screwed to sub floor)? Thanks in advance

I'm sure other folk may have another opinion, but I personally wouldn't mess about any further with that. I'd remove the ply and replace it before carrying on. That way, everything will remain as level as possible. I am a perfectionist though, one of my many traits!
