I was thinking of replacing a bathroom ceiling light with one that includes a fan built in. Plenty of room above to the gable end to extract the air. So have any of you come across one that is very quiet or one that has a seperate switch so that it doesn't come on every time the light is used. I'm thinking that someone nipping to the loo at night doesn't really need to put the fan on and wake everyone up.

If you don't want the fan to come on with the light, don't fit a combined item.
