bought a new light for my bathroom taking the old ceiling fitting down 2 reds were connected to one terminal and one black wire to each of the other terminals and the bare earth wire was pushed up into the ceiling on my new light i have three terminals live neutral and earth could anyone please tell me which wires go where please

One black to live, One black to Neutral. Earth to Earth.
If it is a bayonet fitting bulb then it is not frightfully important which way round the blacks go. If it is a screw fitting bulb then it is best to identify which of the blacks is (switched) live.
Leave the two reds connected together in a bit of terminal strip.
