Bathroom Light

Maybe theres an rcd fused connection unit (spur) in a cupboard or in the loft....that might have tripped?

Hi Guys,no it’s not tripping it only done that once. I didn’t use a junction box I will go up to the loft and trace it back, one thing I did notice was the T+E in the loft from the wall switch seems to be going away from the ceiling cable .
Sorry guys but I have a hospital appointment today and I have to go. I’ll check all that out when I get back I would appreciate it if you could stick with me about the wiring

there will be some sort of junction in the loft
T+E in the loft from the wall switch seems to be going away from the ceiling cable .
it needs to go to a junction box to pick up the permanent Live to go down to the switch and then the switched live will need to return to the light somehow - along with a neutral from somewhere

hence the diagrams i linked to in my original post , which was the first reply in your duplicated post
you mentioned in first post
wired the mirror to a connector in a pattress box box behind it,with twin and earth going up to the ceiling rose through the loft,
dont see a photo of that - dont see a ceiling rose as such - again shown in the links

trace the cable from the switch and also the cable from the ceiling light and see where they join

this is if its a simple connection
and then this one if the power comes into the junction box and goes back out off to something else

hopefully those images help show what SHOULD be going on for you

so the light switch will go to the Junction box and so will the cable from the light its self - it is possible there is somehting else going on in the loft
photos will help here

happy to stick with you - will get a notification when you reply
