Bathroom plastering?

hello was going going to plaster the bathroom it has tiles on the fake wall that i want to take off and redo to a certain hight do i need to redo the whole wall where the bath is hiding the wall? also the was a leak on one the walls and its needs to be taken off the wall a bit what plaster do i need fot that? thanks all

I would plaster the whole wall, even the bit behind the bath. At least it would be a finished job with no worries about dust/draughts, "spiders" , :LOL: from the old brickwork behind/underneath the bath....... If plaster has to be taken off of a wall because of a leak, I would use "bonding coat" undercoat plaster and use multi finish plaster to finish it off........ I'm assuming you have brick walls. ;)
