Hi im having a few problems working out the best way to wire my 240v recessed lights, I have put 5 in my bathroom in various safe zones, i would also like to know if it safe to place a dimmer switch on the outside of the bathroom door? and also the best way to wire the switch in from my existing pull chord switch, i have 4 wire`s coming out of the ceiling 2 black 2 red, its a stud wall so there`s no problem running a cable outside of the bathroom i just want to know if it`s (1)safe to do so (2) and the best way to do it, thanks very much. :D

Yes its safe to have a light dimmer for your bathroom on the wall outside.

Use a dryline enclosure.

The original pull switch is a trickery problem as you will need to relocate the wiring.
Have you considered a pull cord dimmer? They have only 3 levels of light but are a direct swap for a pull switch.

aargh, I didn`t even no they existed that`s a great idea, thanks for you're advice Kid, do you no the best way to wire them obviously there looped.

the only way to wire them is the same as your existing switch is now. tlc supply them
