Bathroom relocation

We want to move our bathroom in an internal position in our semi.

The toilet at the moment is on an external wall. What do we need to consider in terms of distances (it will be moved about 6ft inwards from existing soil pipe)? Can we run the pipe under the floor of old bathroom and out? The internal room is about 1ft higher as well (just adding to the problem?), as it's a cottage so has "character"!

Any ideas? Please help!

in general you can only run large pipes under the floorboards if its going at right angles to the boards as thats the way the joists go

or above the floor boxed in if its following the direction of the flooring

keeping in mind if you have secondary floor covering like wood laminate it mat or may not effect things dependant on how the secondary floor was laid [may or may not follow the flooring underneath]

Thanks so we need to pull up the lino before we decide which way above or below!

What we're really concerned about are measurements like required gradient of soil pipe etc.

Also If we have to go with running it through a box above the floor at what point can the toilet pipe and pipes from bath/shower and wash basin mix or would we have to run 2 separate ones out to external wall?
