Hi all,

I'm currently in the process of having my bathroom re-fitted, and was wondering which type of shower is best, gas or electric? I have a gas combi-boiler, but been told that either shower types have their advantages. Any tips or advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Go electric as If your boiler breaks down you have a back up.

Go for a shower off the combi boiler, you will get a decent shower even in winter when you would have a piddly little flow rate off an electric shower, electric as back up is ok if you have two showers but not as a main shower.

Personally, I would go for a good quality shower off the combi. Electric showers last about five years.
