hi my bathroom sink is leaking when i fill it up with the plug in ,it seems to be leaking under the plug surround anyone know best cure and equipment to use names of equipment would be great many thanks

if its leaking from the plug, fit new plug depending on what type it is.

or if its leaking from around the rim of the waste reseal the waste in the basin.

whats best sealer to use

i just use a clear silicone sealer on wastes etc.

dow corning 785 is good but you can get cheaper.
