My girlfriends cold tap on her bathroom sink has suddenly stopped working and not a drop of water comes out. I don't really know much about plumbing so can anyone suggest why this is and what we can do to fix it. The hot tap is fine, the other taps in the house are all also fine. The tap in question is now stiff to turn, and doesn't turn as much as it did when it worked. My girlfriend says the flow got weaker over a few weeks before it stopped working. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
