Hi
I am desperate for some expert advice. I have looked at alot of topics on the forum but still confused.
I have moved into a house and currently in the process of upgrading the bathroom. I opted to utilise the bath which is new. I have installed a bath/shower mixer tap and before installing the shower screen, hose/bracket etc I need to tile.
The wall in front of the bath/mixer tap measures approx 2'6" x 5'6". It is in fact a box constructed from new 8mm ordinary ply. It actually hides some of the service pipes (boiler/soil pipes)ect.
This wall will hold the shower head and rail so will be subject to splashing etc.
As I do wish to use ceramic tiles I need to know what preparation I need to do to the 8mm ply and the best tile adhesive and grout (waterproof)? The other 2 walls are solid and plastered so I shall just re tile these.
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
