bathroom ventilation

Ive seen architects drawings that indicate a minimum clearance between the bottom of a bathroom door and the FFL.
I appreciate this will vary for different size bathrooms and their ventilation requirements, but is there a 'rule of thumb' or guidelines available?

yes.

And my extractor fan isnt working to its potential and i think this is the problem...

I've always understood it to be minimum 10mm
