Are you talking about pine timber cladding here - and if you are, can you see where the individual boards are fixed?
Also - whats behind the cladding.....is there a gap and then plaster, or is the room dry lined?
John :)

hi sorry its plastic bathroom cladding plaster board walls behind just dont know if i need to use raw plugs or what to put the cabinet up on the wall, its a single door cabinet and not very heavy. thanks

Ok then, what you have to do is to find out whats beneath the plastic......the chances are its stuck directly onto the wall, but who knows?
You need to do a test drill in an inconspicuous area......behind a mirror or somewhere else nicely discreet.
If your luck is in, you should find that a 6mm rawlplug tapped well into the drilled hole should hold well - it doesn't matter if the head of the plug is below the surface of the plastic, so long as the plug itself is firm into the wall behind.

thanks for your reply hopefully it is stuck straight to the wall as the walls were fine just thought it easier putting up cladding rather than tiles all through. :D

No problem - personally I'd use an ordinary twist drill to go through the plastic, and one the masonry appears, switch to a tipped masonry bit and a hammer drill.
