Our bathroom wash basin has become wobbly, the sealant was old and although we reported it to our landlord nothing was done so it got worse.
The hole in the wall that the screw went through has got wet and is now probably the size a thumb hole so the screw won't grab on to anything and its getting progressive worse.
We want to attempt to fix it ourselves but not sure what we can use to get the screw to grip into the plaster wall so we can reveal the sink. Although the screw is long you can fell it hitting the wall masonry wall beyond the plaster board but it just turns in the hole and doesn't actually fix.
The basin sits on a pedestal.
Many thanks
