bathroom waste

can someone help i am just fitting a new bath at home and the waste is leaking ( the bit what you put the plug in it came with 2 rubber washers one i put on the inside of the bath the other on the outside then the overflow pipe collar and then the nut to keep it all in place but there is a little water leaking from this has anyone got any tips :?:
