i am just sorting the wastes for shower, bath and sink. I'm using solvent fit, but on the shower an bath wastes there are compression fit. How do I fit the solvent fit tube to the compression fitting?

Solvent waste pipe will fit the compression fitting

Remove backnut, washer and seal and place on waste pipe (in that order), make sure that the new waste pipe fits the full depth of the compression socket and tighten up.
