Hi everyone. Just wondering what damage, if any, will be done if I don't remove or disconnect my car battery when charging using a battery charger?

with an ordinary domestic charger, nothing. But some high-power fast chargers may put the voltage up beyond normal limits and damage electronic components.

Sorry I misread the question and went into a Health and Safety rant.

My apologies

Thanks Stivino

As long as the charger isn't powered when connecting and disconnecting there should be no sparks.
