Baumatic Extractor Hood (Kitchen) Strange...

Hi,

I have a Baumatic bti975gl cooker hood... it sounds quite loud when you switch it on... and the vent seems fine as when I go to the outside wall of the house it is blowing air out quite well. However, it is not sucking any air above the cooker... even with the filters totally removed.

All three fan settings are quite loud, and everything seems to be working fro the hood upwards, but cannot work out why it is not sucking any air in...

Anybody have any ideas?

How are you determining that there is no suction? It should hold a sheet of paper up to the underside of the hood.

Hi yes that is what I am.doing. it won't hold the paper up even with the filters removed.
