Our boiler has started leaking a brown wax like liquid.
It is coming from the top of the hydraulic outlet assembly, above the water pipes where the micro switch is mounted.

What I need to know is:-

To remove the HOA do I need to drain the whole system?

Are overhaul kits available or do I just replace the unit?

Cheers

Depends what you want to pay,,, You can get a kit to do the job but i would get the whole valve, if one parts leaking like that you can bet the whole valve is ready to go.

just drain the boiler to do the job, and get new 3/4 washers ready for the new valve.

Thanks for the reply.
Doesn't the kit replace all the seals on the assembly?
Any idea on where I could get a kit from?
Cheers
