Hello all
Baxi 105e, got a small drip of water from the end of the bar attached to the diaphram that activates the switch that turn the burner on when the hot water tap is turned on.

From my ambiguous description can anyone tell me what I need to replace ?

Thanks all

Stu

Very eay fix
You need a new Diaphragm cover gland seal

turn off Electrical supply & Cold water main to boiler, open any hot tap to release pressure
remove the micro switch bracket form the diaphragm cover, undo the old gland seal, remove and discard old seal, fit replacement in reverse order, if you have it smear the push rod with silicone Lubricant before fitting
refit the micrswoich & Bracket, turn on water supply & electrical supply
Test operation of boiler and check for leaks

Job done!! ;)

Often supplied WITHOUT the seal washer so dont discard the old one until new one is in place.

If you did then a little PTFE tape will also make a seal.

Make sure the pin is 100% clean before fitting the new gland as any dirt will rapidly spoil the new one!
