Baxi 105e ,that may have a problem or may not ?

Hi everyone

I have tried looking for an answer to my question on here but I cannot seem to come across one so please forgive me if this has already been answered somewhere.

Okay I have a baxi 105e and i have the central heating turned off and I mean off by means of the switch on the timer but when I have a shower (which runs of the boiler) or I fill the bath with hot water the radiators get hot I am not sure if this is a normal occurrence or not its just I have never noticed it happening before any advice would be greatly appreciated

could be your diverter valve is letting by i.e when hot water being used the diverter valve lets by to rads instead of shutting off. usually you notice a change in the water temp. If it is the diverter it will need changing, needs a skilled rgi rather than diy.

the 105e is one of the easy ones and yes a diyer can do it.

cheers for that mate do you know where I can find a drawing of it or something because I a vavle before and a diagphram when the hot water wasnt cutting in and thats been okay since I done it so I would like to have a look at doing myself if possible ?

Is the diverter valve the valve I changed the diaphram on last year to get my hot water working again ? or is it different I have looked on here and online and thery are so many different photos all named as the diverter valve
