i pulled off the top microswitch & the CH worked with it off,does that pin supposed to move in & out(the bottom one DHW does) anyway i put the microswitch back on and moved it about a bit & hey presto its still on"

Do you reckon i need a new switch? or just keep an eye on it.

seems like i didnt need the PCB or APS after all (good job they were free")

For all they cost change it or give it a squirt with WD40 an keep an eye on it.
