Afternoon. I am looking for some advice on the above boiler. The issue we are having is that the central heating is working fine but no hot water. Had a quick look inside and can see that the pin on DHW on the diverter valve is not coming out and hitting the microswitch. Was thinking it may be sticking or the diaphragm is knackered. Are these easy to repair and does it sound like the diaphragm. Any help appreciated.

which demand light is coming on when you call for hot water?.Does the burner come on if there is no demand for central heating and you run a tap?

Water demand light doesn't come on at all. Pressed the microswitch manually and hot water demand and burner come on for about 10 seconds. Central heating works as normal.

sounds like the diaphragm is faulty so try that first.cheap.

The operating mechanism that the diaphragm pushes could be full of sludge, seized up,leaking who knows.

they are easy to repair but a lot of care, understanding and caution is required, have you got the installation and servicing manual,

good luck,

Got the manual and seen a few posts of how to replace, send pretty straight forward.

Just a thought. When testing the microswitch and leaving the hot water tap running why wouldn't the water get hot with the boiler running?

because the diverter valve diaphram is not diverting the water from heating to hot water, your radiators will get hot though when you do that

All done and dusted and back up and running. The old diaphragm had a hole in. Thanks for the info guys.
