GREAT BOILER never let me down

I have a discharge right at top of boiler where the inlet / exhaust intake is ( do I sound like a farmer ? )

its like limescale is the best I can describe it !! And is inside the cover and drips down onto the floor, thats how I noticed it. Difficult to see if rubber ring is damaged

except we dont get that up here

Is the seal away and the chrome bolt at top to be closed or unsrewed a bit?

It sounds as if you are describing the flue.

In that case you should not be touching it and call a CORGI who can assess the problem and ensure anything done to it is goint to be safe and not kill you with CO poisoning.

its about the size of a 50 pence piece, but completely round. it screws in to the FLUE ( cheers agile )

I didnt know if it was to be screwed in or out , what it is or what it is for

I guess it must be the rubber flange that is away. i will call someone out

??????????????????????

The only chrome 'thing' is the manual air vent, this should be screwed down tightly.
