Baxi Bahama Combi Boiler not completing cycle

Is a SIT or Honeywell version?

ive just checked out fault finding on both versions.

if i were you i would respond to baxpoti.

i suspect hes far more familiar with this boiler than i.

Baxipot: how do I differentiate between 2 versions.

There’s a Honeywell Actuator situated behind
the control panel if that’s any help.

Both versions have the same honeywell actuator

On the front control panel the dials have either red or black surrounds (eyebrows)

Red is the original SIT

Black being the Honeywell

Got the CH on tonight and it’s playing up really bad almost every cycle I’m having to press the reset switch, yet some days it runs fine.

spacethegas, are those pictures gas valves?

This boiler is 8-10 years old and not really worth throwing money at it.

A gas valve fitted and set up correctly could be £200.

If you can't afford a replacement boiler try getting an insurance contract with domestic and general.

Well we finally got there in the end guys. Thanks for all your help, only wished I’d visited this site before having the flow switches replaced. I could have saved myself 80 quid. I was planning on replacing the boiler along with fitting a new kitchen in the spring, might have to bring my plans forward.

Think I’ll give that BG chap I know a call, ask him how much to fix, just to see me the right side of Christmas.

What do you guys think of a Worcester 28 as a replacement?

One final thing baxpoti any chance you could give me a part no for a gas valve.
