Hi all,

Not hot at all on back boilers....this one pilot is lit, controls call for heat, sparks seen but no fire up. The gas fire front works fine.

Gas valve is working fine i think. Could it be the electronics (board) and if so do they still do spares?

Any help would be appreciated

Have you stripped it and checked pilot is clear, hole for air intake blocks very easily

Sorry powel missed the bit that said pilot lit

SO pilot is light but auto ignition keeps sparking ?

Thats the fire model not the boiler.
Makesure pilot is correct size to heat probe properly and send correct signal back( F off any smart alec that wants to speak about ionisation  )
check lead and probe are not damaged and thus not carrying correct signal back.
Check no one has been working on electrics and reversed the polarity.
finally it maybe the board which should still be avialabe

I would go with namsag. If pilot is buring correctly, nice and blue and correct size, then it sounds like a pcb problem, not recognising the pilot is alight. I think you should be getting around 7-10 millivolts DC back to the board if it is working correctly.

Now namsag, about this ionisation
