my father had an engineer out last year to service his BAXI BERMUDA BOILER 552. mounted behind his gas fire.

He removed a surpressor and told him it wasnt required,since then he gets electrical interference on his radio when the boiler fires up.

should the surpressor be on there and if so where can i get one

yes it should be on there

its a capacitor to absorb the spike when the gas valve opens

dunno what size tho

you could try partscentre or controls centre
