Baxi boiler E118 error code - Cant find filling loop valve

Hi lads,

I have low pressure/E118 error code.

As per the pictures I cant find the filling loop valve anywhere under the boiler.

I do have what seems to be a valve in another room close to the expansion vessel.

Any advice please?

Show us a pic of the other end of the silver Flexi pipe/ what it connects to. It is very likely your filling loop.

E119 as per the boiler. Just behind the gate valve should be the other handle to turn, but could be a single handle type, which is the black handle to the left of the pressure gauge.

The silver flex seems to connect to the main green water cylinder.

Seems to be just one black lever as Country mentioned above.

So I will just turn the black valve in the other room, check it hits green 1.5 on the boiler display then turn the black switch back?

Once I have repressurised will I need to restart the boiler boy turning the dial on the last picture anti clockwise for a few seconds?

The fault iirc is self clearing once water has been added

Just turn the black handle ,the pressure gauge next to it should register the pressure. If the boiler error message doesn't clear and the boiler start to function,you would need to use the dial to reset.

So I opened the black handle as discussed about 20 minutes ago.

The pressure gauge on my boiler has moved from rock bottom zero red to just under one in green as below.

I know it should to to 1.5 for the boiler to start.

Should I wait a bit longer given the boiler is is in a different room?

Yep, needs to be higher than it is currently. Open it for about 10 seconds, close it and return to the boiler
