Hi, my parents have recently had a new Baxi Duo tec boiler fitted. The boiler has twice failed on the fault code of E118 ( water pressure too low )
On the last occurrence the display was showing 0 bar however the needle gauge indicated the pressure to be approximately 1.6 bar.
I also checked the system pressure via the iP button which also indicated 0 bar.
The boiler was then powered down for a short period. When powered back up the digital display read as per the gauge reading.
Would suspect either the transducer ( this is what we call it in refrigeration but baxi may term it as a pressure sensor ) or the PCB are at fault.
Would be interested to hear if this is a common problem with these boilers.
Many thanks.[/b]
