Baxi boiler problem

Hi,

Our Baxi boiler has been playing up for a few weeks now.

I have to keep the water/radiators switched off because when i turn the switch to water only the radiators also come on hence why i turn it off as it'll cost me a fortune in heating. Also when i turn on the water the boiler heats up as normal for about 10-20 seconds then go off and then on for another 10-20 seconds, this is repeated until it eventually goes off completely as it then needs re-igniting.

Please could someone tell the problem as roughly the cost so when a plumber does come round i know what to expect.

model of said baxi please???? 105e as a guess

Diverter valve is passing and plate heat ex is full of rubbish, as could your system be....

Same fault, different model.... call a gas engineer if you arent competent to DIY, I dont know how much independents cost unfortunately
