Just been to see an elderly customer and need a bit of advise. She has a Baxi boiler that has the fault flashing of Lt, which according to the manual indicates a problem with the DHW Switch. Does anyone know a rough cost for this part and can it be replaced by a corgi registered or is it a specialist job? This customer has been riped off by 2 plumber so far and as she is 82 I think it is distgusting :x

Need model number fella, and yes, gas safe registered engineers ARE a specialist job. No plumbers should touch ANY boiler! They need to produce their identity card to show competance. A national company called Anchor Trust (Part of EAGA Group) employ vetted gas engineers and other trades for the elderly and vunerable people. Check in local directory for their local office, if you fear of being ripped off again

Corgi is now only for Irish has work. Over here they are only a plumbers merchant. Gas Safe Register is what she needs these days.
