Being the owner of one these and on my 5 PRV I would moncur it's your PRV.

I do wonder what caused it to blow the first time though. I'd have the guy check your expansion vessel when he comes to fit the new PRV.

if its a push fit

isolate boiler electrically

isolate flow and return

open prv to drain

remove and replace with new

open flow and return valves and re pressurise to 1.2 bar

vent pump

make sure AAV is open

you never drain thro the prv it will start leaking

Could some one please confirm this! I had a central heating engineer come and fit a new radiator to my system last week and he dropped the pressure off via the PRV and ever since then the pressure appears to keep dropping and water is collecting in the bucket I placed below the valve drain outside - could he have caused this problem?! If so I'll ask him to come back and sort it out! Many thanks
