Hi folks, new to here so go easy...

We have a Baxi Combi 80Eco bolier that has worked perfectly for the 8 months we have been here...unfortunately this purple patch seems to be ending. The system is firing up fine for the central heating, radiators lovely and warm.

However, when we call for 'instant' hot water alone, it only fires up on when the bath or kitchen sink tap are turned on. The hand basin in the bathroom, and the shower don't fire it up at all.

No idea why we are getting this intermitent problem????

Basically, to get a shower we now have to run the bath tap, turn the shower on, then turn the bath tap off.

A friend has suggested it may be the diverter valve?

Any help would be massively/hugely/amazingly appreciated

Cheers

Pete

It may well be the diaphragm that is causing your fault. If you are not confident in changing it then a competent boiler engineer will be able to do the job and do a service in an hour all being well.Kev beat me to it.

hi guys, thanks for such prompt replies...the picture that has been posted, it says it is the flow switch for a Baxi 105...are they the same? Once again sorry for what may seem stupid questions
