hi people i have a baxi combei 80e oe105e not shore as the manual says both the hot water works fine its just the heating will fire up or a little bit than cuts out and will restart if unpluged and pluged back it stright away i have the cover off and checked a few things any ideas would be great and also checked the wall stat and working.thanks

You should check the resistance of both sensors with the boiler cold.

It could be a PCB fault.

However, usually it would show a fault code but you have not mentioned any!

thanks for your reply which sensors ? i have taken the tem sensor on the heating side out if i unplug it than it wont run?and were would it show the fault code?also it will run hot a bath with no probs and realy seems only on the heating side.thanks again

forgot to say when it cuts out the pump still runs and the lights go down i sopose this is because the waters still being pumped around and the radiators are cooling the water as it wont be being heated?

hi again just unpluged the temp sensor in the c/h and shows a flashing 8 and the temp sensor on the h/w shoes a 7 when unpluged does this mean they are both working as it shuts down when unpluged

yer it will fire up and warm up for a bitthean go out with the pump still running them may or may not put in again in a bit normaly just turn off at the plug and it will come on again or turn the tap on then when turned off the heating will kick in again

if the diverter is stuck so the water heats up but can't get out of the boiler, it will take a long time before the boiler cools down enough to light again, so best to leave it sit for a while and see what happens over a couple of hours.
Provided of course it does not seem to overheat or otherwise cause a danger.

the heating gets the rads nice and hot but just cuts out and some times wont restart ond other times willwould the diverter just jam or only when switching fron h/w to c/h because we havent used the taps this morning and still it will cut out after a bit.thanks again for you help.can i check the diverter??

Eliminate faulty room stat or external wiring by refitting the loop on terminals 1 and 2 (refer to the installation instructions, wiring section)
