Hi,

I am getting no domestic hot water from my Baxi 80 eco combi boiler and have been told the problem is likely to be the diaphragm which will need replacing.

Is there any specific diaphragm I need for this model of boiler or are they all pretty much the same.

Many thanks in advance.

Jon

Tony always uses Silicone grease on his. I'd recommend you do it Au Naturel.

Not sure what you are all on about (neither do my 35 kids).

Actually the size I use would be too big for the job at hand ;)

That's what you get if she's got a hole in her diaphragm. Get the doc to do you a scrip for a spare, and try one in the boiler???
And put the other one in the Baxi 80??

I thought that diaphragm DID have a hole in it?

I always find the lubricated ones are much better to fit!

When I found myself caught short I saved the day by using a normal one and making the hole in it myself.
