I've just had a new boiler fitted (works off a mechanical clock) and am wondering if I can use the existing drayton lp522 programmer (with digistat 1 thermostat) with the new boiler if so how do you do it!

My old set up was a back boiler and hot water tank with the stuff mentioned above. I've had a look at the baxi manual but am not totally convinced of how to do it as the old system controlled the hot water as well as the central heating whereas now it is only the central heating that needs to be controlled. Do I need to ignore the hot water and just wire up for the central heating or is this wrong?

Any help would be appreciated as I'm under pressure to get job finished and get the house back in order!
