says it all really, user manual says faulty components, any advance? got someone coming to look anyway, but interested.

2nd, is there a temporary fix that either I can do or can be done if the "faulty component" is unavailable?

the boiler is still under warranty, so don't want to do anything to void it...

last bit, is its been installed 11 months, can somone reassure me that its not going to break down every year, I replaced the old glow-worm because of that...

Your old Glowey had two and a bit parts that kept you warm and supplied with lashings of water. It did not cost much in repairs but was a little hungry for gas.

You new super duper boiler is mega efficient that can do the same thing i.e. keep you warm and supply hot water to your hearts desire while using gas volume equal to that produced by sparrows fart. But, big BUT, service and upkeep is measured in multiples of what the Glowey needed.

Reliability? Well the unit that was built like the proverbial outhouse is by now. I imagine, containing Heinze baked beans and what was milk cartons is now you 11 month old boiler

For advice, i would say, find an engineer that your friends and family use and trust and be kind to him. He will have the magic touch to keep you happy.

cheers, not flapping, just worries me a bit when things start breaking after 11 months, we shall see what happens.

baxi cant come out till tomorrow though, bit irritating, we shall manage...
