Baxi Genesis 80 - HW problems

Hi there first post,

The HW is not coming on when the boiler is on the HW setting,actually the CH starts to fire up when the taps are running.

The CH stays on even when the taps are turned off unelss i completely shut off the boiler.

I'm guessing there may be a problem with the diverter valve, not entirely sure though.

There is a lot of dust and grit flying around the kitchen as I've been knocking up a extension, so that may have clogged up the boiler although I've vaccumed it now.

Any help will be much appreciated thanks...

Sounds like diverter valve, although might also be a flow switch. Baxi genesis is virtually identical to Chaffoteaux et Maury Britony. You might find spares easier/cheaper as Britony spares.
