baxi he80 fan flu fault

hi everyone

my boiler today has the fan/flu light flashing

i have done the reset and had a look at the pcb it looks to be fine and clean

the fan does not seem to spin. should it if the heating is set to constent??

even though its showing a fault

anyone got any ideas of what it might be

You need an rgi for this i am afraid.

the fan seems to spin freely if you do it by hand seems like no power or not triggering for some reason

i have done a fair bit of reading on this now and seems that its going to be most likly the pcb

does any one have the part numbers for a replacement

And you have checked the aps??

Nope thought not.

It MIGHT be the pcb......but unless you know what your testing for your likely to throw away £100+......

whats the best way to check the APS?

i am not going to just buy on a whim but i think its likly to be that.

seems as though many poeple habe had a new APS fitted and still doesnt fix the issue

i have now had a plumber out and it was deffinatly the pcb

working fine now a new one has been fitted
